Route : Hanoi – Ba Be Lake – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi
Leave Hanoi for Ba Be lake at 8 AM on a 5-hour drive. Stop in Thai Nguyen city to visit Museum of Ethnic Minorities in Viet Nam. Arrive Ba Be national park early in the afternoon. Take time to see Hua Ma cave, regarded as most beautiful cave in Northeast Vietnam, to admire enchanting beauty of limestone stalactites and stalagmites. Then pay a visit to exhilarating Tat Ma waterfall in the middle of this mountainous area before going to your homestay in Pac Ngoi village. Spend rest of the day kayaking and swimming in fresh cooling water of Ba Be lake.
Wake up early to enjoy the freshest air and have your served local breakfast before 3-hour boating around the lake. During boat trip, have short walk along Cam village beside Nang river. Follow the river to Puong cave, a tunnel cave full of amazement from limestone stalactites and stalagmites to mysterious bats. End at Buoc Lom wharf where you say goodbye to Ba Be and head for Quang Uyen district of Cao Bang province. After a 3-hour drive, reach a cultural village of Nung people where they make incense to survive. Time to wander around and discover the village. If time permits, spend 30 minutes to 1 hour climbing up the top of mountain for a panoramic view.
Take a morning exercise after a long sleep to enjoy the fresh air before your served local breakfast. Hit the road again to epic Ban Gioc waterfall, the fourth biggest border waterfall in the world between Vietnam and China. Stop en route for a short walk around Phuoc Sen village, a Nung village where they make knives as traditional handicraft. Picnic lunch at the waterfall and relax. Pay a visit to Nguom Ngao cave, known a Tiger cave before heading for Lang Son city.
07.00 – 12.00: Transfer to Bai Tu Long Bay on a 5-hour drive from Lang Son city.
12.00 – 12.30: Embark at Hon Gai international harbor.
12.30 – 13.00: Check-in, enjoy welcome drink & cruise briefing.
13.30 – 15.00: Lunch while cruising to magnificent Bai Tu Long bay. Admire the fascinating formations on the way.
15.15 – 15.40: Explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son cave.
15.45 – 18:00: Enjoy relaxing on a white sandy beach at Hon Co island, swimming or kayaking.
18:00 – 19.00: Back to junk for refreshing before having dinner on board.
20.00 – 21.00: Relax, enjoy fresh air & overnight on board.
07.30 – 08.00: Morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Enjoy breakfast in the fresh air.
08.30 – 09.30: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat.
10.00: Check out of the cabin. Start cruising towards the harbor while lunch is served.
11.45 – 12.00: Disembark. Back to Hanoi on a 4-hour drive.
